Since i only started using this phone about seven hours ago it might be a bit better to search for a more experienced review.However,i have written one for you since i have thoroughly searched the phone.My first impressions when i opened the box and looked at it was "That's pretty standard looking,nothing amazing but average".Though after a few minutes I actually love how it looks.It didn't take long at all to charge for the first time.I believe it took two hours,though it recommends two and a half hours.When I opened it up i was surprised at how spacious it was with such a sleek phone.I was impressed.The buttons are clear and easy to use.I also liked how there were three buttons above the standard number buttons.The first of the three was the Video Call one.Anyone could see me while i was calling them at a simple press of a button,i didnt even have to go through options,just pressed a button on the keypad.The second was a music button.Press it and i automatically go to My Music rather than the longer way by going into menu then music.The third was Shortcuts.I liked these buttons cos its easier than going through everything like you would normally have to do.The camera was very clear and sharp,it was no doubt an amazing camera.At first i forgot to take the clear sticky plastic off of the lense which blurred the image and i thought it was an awful camera until i worked out that i needed to remove the plastic.Remember this if you are buying one.While on the subject of the camera there is also a useful feature in which you can take a picture of yourself while able to see the screen.Just go to the camera,press options and then "Switch to Int. camera".At first this startled me because i didn't have a clue what the Int Camera was and my face flashed up on the screen.Because this camera was in black and white and a face (which was mine but i didn't know at the time because the lense was facing the other direction but there was also another hidden lense on the other side) it was quite ghostly but it didn't take me long to work out how i was looking at myself.There is also a built in mp3 player,voice recorder,radio,stop watch,alarm clock,timer,built in torch,built in calculater,task sheet,world clock,e-books,mini bank kind of thing in which you can count up how much you have spent,how much you should spend,how much you have left ect,extremely speedy bluetooth and lots of other handy features.Now being a major part of Phone systems these days i will talk about Bluetooth.When you use your phone for the first time you need to switch on bluetooth(this is presuming you want it permenantly on) and switch the visualability to "Show my phone"(that is presuming you want other phones to be able to find you) and change your name from either "Unkown" or "770sh" to whatever you want your name to be.Bluetooth settings you have to go to the menu and select Settings.Then press the right key to get to the Connectivity tab.Press Bluetooth.To switch on the bluetooth press Switch On/Off and select on.To show your phone to other phones(or hide them) press Visability.To find devices press Search For Devices.If you have used bluetooth on the phone before then press refresh as it just shows devices you have already connected with unless you press it.Most importantly Bluetooth Settings.Open it and it says Device Name,click that to change your name.The others aren't ovally important.When you want to send something throught bluetooth you got to My Items not the Bluetooth area and choose what you want to send and press options and then send.Choose "Via Bluetooth" and it will come up with devices within ten yards available for sending to.The only negative point about bluetooth is that if someone wants to send something to you it doesn't ask your permission(unlike most phones with bluetooth) though when it has finished sending it will ask you if you want to save it.The sending time is remarkably quick.I previously owned a Motorola and to send a song through bluetooth took hours,but this one taks less than a minute.My only main negative point is that this phone doesn't have much memory it only holds 5 mp3 tracks and about twelve or under pictures.There is a solution,an expensive solution but a solution none the less.Buy a memory card.Memory cards are quite expensive but worth it.I will order one shortly.In the music the good thing is you can play the music and then go do whatever you want on your phone or even close it and it still plays unless you press stop.Hope this helps. |
