The Samsung C240 mobile phone is a Tri band GSM phone which works with GSM 900/ 1800/ 1900 networks. The phone is a candy bar phone which was announced in July this year but there is still no word about the release of this phone. The Samsung C240 mobile phone has a 65k color TFT screen with a 120 x 160 pixel resolution.
The Samsung C240 mobile phone is a very ordinary entry level phone and it will be interesting to see how Samsung actually prices the phone. The phone comes with GPRS which can deliver speeds up to 48 kbps. There is no provision for other data networks like EDGE and so on. There is a WAP / xHTML browser for surfing the internet and sending emails on the move. The Samsung C240 mobile phone is available only the in aqua blue color. There are other additional features included in the phone are Java MIDP 2.0, FM Radio, and built in handsfree. There is no camera with the phone, which would bring the price of the Samsung C240 mobile phone down a tad bit.
