Philips - 755Philips' 755 Is Stylus Ready
Philips recently introduced one of the first normal format mobile phones to sport a touch screen. The new 755 has a relatively large 65k color touch screen display, and as such, includes a stylus. You can use the stylus to annotate photos and MMS messages, as well as to navigate through the phone using the new Color Matrix UI (an update of their former carousel menu system). Perhaps of even more interest, though, is the availability of an on-screen keyboard for text entry and messaging.
Otherwise, the triband GSM 755 is a relatively typically modern handset. It supports Class 10 GPRS data, 32 voice polyphonic ring tones, and has an integrated VGA camera on board. The battery life claims are pretty high, with Philips claiming 5 hours of talk time from a single charge. Other things of interest include the Philips BeDJ ringtone editor and an optional accessory that can be used to display photos taken by the 755 on your television.
Philips expects to start shipping the 755 to selected markets this Fall.
