Pantech & Curitel Mobile GUI Design
Pantech & Curitel has been producing mobile devices for the Korean market, the North American CDMA-based market, and the European UMTS mobile market. The industry is expanding rapidly and customer information must be gathered effectively for Pantech & Curitel to grow its market share in each region.

Ion Global was choosen for its UMTS-related expertise and participated in Pantech & Curitel's planning of its first UMTS models (GU-1000/GU-1100). The cooperation included providing UMTS-related information, producing a new mobile device UI scenario, and analysing the GUI style of European GSM mobile devices.

Ion Global and Pantech & Curitel's team flew to England to analyse the UMTS market and conduct field tests. The final GUI design of the first models was a reflection of the latest trends and demands of the market.
