The Orbit is a member of the XDA range which has been designed by O2. The mobile handset is not only a highly specified piece of equipment but it is slim & stylish in looks & design. The handset comes with a matt black & silver finish which oozes sophistication & will certainly catch the users eye. The O2 XDA Orbit in only 16.8 mm in depth, 58 mm wide & 108 mm in length which provides the user with a slim & highly useable handset. The Orbit comes with a circular navigation tool which allows the user to move around the menu system with ease. The navigation tool & keys are situated below the impressive colour screen. The coloured screen is 2.8 Inches in size which is large & provides an incredibility clear display on the TFT LCD screen. The user can use the touch screen facility which makes using the O2 XDA Orbit a pleasure to use what ever built in feature the user may be using. The handset weighs 129 grams which is lightweight for such a well equipped XDA mobile phone. The O2 XDA Orbit is the ideal companion for all business & pleasure users, just like its family member the O2 XDA Mini S, it will capture the heart of all users.
The Orbit comes with a built in music player feature which can play MP3 music files & brings entertainment to the handset. The music doesn't stop there as the phone comes with a FM radio feature which has six radio presets. The user can use the built in music features to enjoy music on the go & the user can store their favourite MP3 on the phones memory. The phone comes with 128 Mbytes of (ROM) memory plus with 64 Mbytes of (RAM) memory on a MiniSD™ memory card. The XDA Orbit comes with a email service which works just like a personal computers email service as the phone comes with Outlook™ Mobile email. The XDA Orbit comes with Microsoft® Windows® Mobile™ 5.0 software which allows the user to send & receive Microsoft® push emails directly & in an instant. The user can enjoy a real email service on their small & compact XDA Orbit mobile phone. The user can send & receive SMS messages which contain text or MMS messages which contain text with sound & images. The user has a great choice of how to stay in contact with other contacts with the easy to create & use messaging services on the O2 XDA Orbit.
The built in camera feature provides the user with a 2 megapixel camera complete with zoom & flash. The user can use the camera to take still photographs or to record video footage. The O2 XDA Orbit can record video footage in MPEG4 format & the user can play video footage on their handset. The phone comes with a GPS satellite navigation receiver which requires satellite navigation software which the user can purchase as an additional extra. The O2 XDA Orbit is a mobile phone, PDA, camera, music player, portable FM radio & a satellite navigation system all in one desirable package.
The phone comes with a fitted battery which will provide approximately 5 hours worth of talk time & up to 200 hours of standby time. The quad band technology allows the user to use their mobile phone within several continents depending on the service provider & the phone work over GSM 850, 900, 1800 & 1900. The WAP browser provides the user with a direct connection to the Internet & allows the user to access Internet based information & services. The user can connect to compatible devices using a Bluetooth® wireless connection which provides the user with a fast, effective & wirefree connectivity between the devices. The phone comes with wireless LAN & GPRS class 10. The built in speaker & microphone provides the user with a handsfree option when communicating with others.
