The O2 XDA IIi is a beautiful & powerful business tablet styled mobile phone. The O2 XDA IIi provides the user with a perfect business partner complete with PDA, Internet capabilities, integrated wireless LAN connectivity & a built in camera feature. The XDA IIi comes in a silver coloured casing which measures 130 x 69.9 x 19 mm. The phone comes with 128 Mbytes of memory which is changeable with the use of the mini SD™ memory cards. The mini SD™ memory cards are easily removable & slot smoothly into the designated slot. The main feature of the phone is the beautifully colourful touch screen which provides 65k colours & a 240 x 320 pixel screen resolution. The XDA IIi is a member of the XDA range designed by O2 which includes the O2 XDA, O2 XDA Exec, O2 XDA Mini S & the O2 XDA SP.
The phone comes with Bluetooth® technology which allows the user to connect without wires to any Bluetooth® compatible device which can include a satellite navigation system, personal computer, headset, laptop, PDA (personal digital assistants) or printer. The user can connect to the Internet at high speeds using the wireless LAN. The wireless LAN service provides the user with a wireless broadband Internet connection at selected locations or hotspots locations around the UK & aboard. The phone comes complete with tri band GPRS network which provides the user with access to GSM networks worldwide. The user can gain a fast mobile data service on almost one hundred GPRS networks abroad in nearly sixty countries.
The O2 XDA IIi comes with a built in media player which allows the user to listen to music for their pleasure & enjoy the quality sound. The phone comes with a pair of headphones so the user can have a private listening experience. The user can copy music files in MP3 & WMA formats from their personal computer & transfer it easily on to their phone. The phone comes with polyphonic ringtones with thirty two voices which the user can select for their incoming calls & alert tones.
The XDA IIi comes with many messaging services which include text (SMS) messaging, multimedia (MMS) messaging, voice mail, instant messaging (MSN® Messenger) & email so therefore the user can enjoy staying in contact with colleagues, friend or family members wherever they are in the world. The multimedia messaging service allows the user to send & receive pictures or video clips complete with text & sound. The user can send & receive MMS messages from any MMS compatible device. The XDA IIi comes with an instant messaging service in the form of MSN® Messenger which allows the user to have an online conversation with groups of contacts or an individual contact that are online at the same time as the user. The phone supports email clients POP3, SMTP & IMAP4. The user can have a secure access to their business LAN which provides a connection to their Intranet or to a mobile Web virtual private network (VPN) which allows the user to access their business email accounts. The built in voice mail service will record a message from contacts when the user can not take the call & the user can retrieve the voice message when it is more convenient.
The phone comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera complete with a digital zoom & a night mode for capturing night shot. The user can use the video recorder feature which allows the user to record, play, download & stream video. The user can download & stream video quickly & easily on the XDA IIi which include current news highlights, movie trailers & sporting highlights. The phone comes with a photo ID contacts feature which allows the user to add a photo to each contact in their phone book.
The XDA IIi comes with jawbreaker & solitaire games already embedded for the user to enjoy the preloaded entertainment. The user can download games to suit their gaming needs very easily.
