Motorola - V690Motorola V690 Preview
There are some interesting new designs coming our of Motorola China recently. Take the new V690, a phone that doesn't seem to have too much to do with the much-delayed V600, in spite of the name similarities.
In fact, the V690 is more of an update to the V688. They share much the same appearance except for the V690's new internal antenna, something that Mot China is touting as being pretty cool. The V690 is part of a new line of fashion phones from Motorola China that also includes the V880, V875, V878, and the more sporty V303.
Thankfully it is a triband device, so it will work in most anywhere in the world - not just Asia and Europe. It is a pretty nice design, so it is a bit curious as to why Motorola is limiting its distribution to just the Chinese market.
Details are still a bit sketchy, as our Chinese isn't all that great (read that as "non-existent"), but the device is already showing up in some of the online import mobile phone shops. We'll take a look at the device and consider doing a full review once we get a chance to play with it a bit.
