Motorola - SLVR L7Motoslvr L7 Review
Weighing 86 grams and measuring 114 x 49 x 12 mm, the Motoslvr L7 has got to be one of the thinnest cell phones in the market. With a nicely built in 5 way navigational keypad (nickel plated copper-alloy), the Motoslvr comes built-in with iTunes that can store 7 hours of music, or 100 songs.
To accomodate this 7 hours of music, users can add 512mb of additional memory thanks to the microSD/Transflash memory slots. Here's a breakdown of all the features of the Motoslvr L7:
- Built-in MP3 player (iTunes) that can store upto 100 songs or 7 hours of music. Convenient toggle menus are also included.
- Bluetooth (Class 2) and integrated handsfree capability.
- PC Synchronization where you can download more songs and music from the PC directly to the phone.
- Built-in 0.3 megapixel VGA digital camera with 4X Zoom, Video Capture/Playback (resolution of 640 x 480 pixels)
- Downloadable multimedia including ringtones, wallpapers, screensavers, 3gp videos and more thanks to J2ME MIDP 2.0
- Chat softwares including AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, and Yahoo! Messenger
- Downloadable games (J2ME)
- iTAP Predictive Text Input (with this feature, the software predicts the words you are just about to type, and gives you a list of suggestions in drop down menu format. You just select the right word and the job is done!)
- SMS (short messaging service), EMS (enhanced messaging service) and MMS (multimedia messaging service). Here is the difference between MMS and EMS:
- EMS allows you to format your text messages to make them look more professional and organized. Things such as font size, alignment, styles, single/double spaced and paragraphs make up EMS.
- MMS on the other hand allows you to attach videos, sounds and photos (.gif and .jpg formats) to a text message. So if you have to send a greeting with sound and video to a loved one, MMS will help you do it! |
