Motorola - C139Budget Conscious Motorola C139 for Cingular
Cingular has announced the availability of the Motorola C139 low-cost handset for its pre-paid GoPhone service, giving those looking for a cheap handset that just does the basics an option that is not only small, but looks pretty good as well.
The Motorola C139 does not have a lot going for it on the specification sheet, but that goes with the fact that the handset is certainly not aimed at the technical audience. The C139 includes a small 65k color LCD display with a resolution of 96x65 pixels, along with support for Polyphonic ringtones and iTap predictive text entry. A calendar application is also included, but apart from up to 700 minutes talk time, there is not much else to mention about the handset.
The Motorola C139 is available online and through Cingular stores or retail partners for the low price of US$39.99, which includes a US$10 credit for GoPhone airtime.Specifications for the Motorola C139
