Ericsson - GF 768Ericsson GF 768
Advantages Size, quality, colours.
Disadvantages Size(of buttons), sticky-out aerial!
When I first got my GF768 it was only the second mobile I had ever bought. The first had been an alcatel club model which was a decent enough phone but somewhat bulky.
The ericsson was a world away from this previous model. I had never had any knowledge of EFR but apparently this had it?!?! I don't to this day know exactly what it does but believe me the quality of sound and the reception on mine have been outstanding. The menu is a breeze to flick through and the options on it are all clear and relevant.
On the down side obviously you have the small screen, tidgey little buttons which don't help if you are a bit of a porker like me, and the easily bent aerial.
Since buying it I have changed contract three times and each time have given the new phone away in favour of my 768. This has meant goodbye to a Nokia 3210, Siemens C15 and one other which I think was a motorola brick!
If you can get your hands on one then do, just be wary of the colours!

Great little phone. Very basic, but fits nicely in the hand. Easy to read display. Raised keys make it extremely easy to use. The best mobile I've ever owned! Wish Ericcson would make an update of this little beauty. |
