The One Touch C552 has a dual band GSM capability as well as dual color displays. Style seems to be the motto for once as against sensible form and features that usually are the way Alcatel phones are designed.
The handset looses its way on the memory lane, since it does not allow the user to increase its memory capacity and it itself has only 3 megabytes pre-installed. Considering that the phone has a VGA camera built-in to allow capturing images, this seems inadequate.
The C552 will allow its owner to send / recieve, SMS, EMS, MMS and E-mails besides also chatting online using Instant Messaging. The C552 provides the popular Push 2 Talk technology. Third party programs will be compatible on the handset since it has Java MIDP 2.0 functionality.
